Whispers, Gossip and Murmurs

MTV Awards

MTV recently expanded its annual Movie Awards ceremony to include the small screen. It's now titled the MTV Movie and TV Awards. But it still feels like something is missing, right? And that something is FASHION. If the cable network won't recognize the best and worst dressed on the red carpet, it's therefore up to us

ScarJo and J-Law

Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence are not feuding over their upcoming weddings, despite a false tabloid report attempting to pit the actresses against each other. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story. We’re told there’s “no truth” to any of it. “ScarJo vs. J-Law: Battle of the Brides” reads a headline in the latest issue of Life & Style. The accompanying article says the two stars are in a fierce competition as they prepare to walk down the aisle with their respective fiancés, “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost and art gallery owner Cooke Maroney.

Anti-Semitic John Cusack

Actor John Cusack has apologised after sharing an anti-Semitic image with fans on Twitter . The Hollywood star, 52, was slammed after retweeting a cartoon of a giant hand with a Star of David on the sleeve, which was crushing a crowd of people below it. The meme also quoted Neo-Nazi Kevin Alfred Storm, although it attributed the quote to Voltaire instead. It said: "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize."

Madonna

Italian designer Marcelo Burlon, the creative director for the brand County of Milan, has issued a public apology after calling the music legend a “human toilet.” Italian designer Marcelo Burlon, the creative director for the brand County of Milan, has issued a public apology after calling the music legend a “human toilet.” On Sunday, June 16, the “Like a Virgin” singer was spotted at JFK airport wearing a head-to-toe Country of Milan ensemble. The black sweatpants Opens a New Window. and matching sweatshirt were covered in colorful graphics and designs including stick figures, lightning bolts and even a few phrases. Burlon then posted a series of the pictures of her wearing the outfit on Facebook with a caption that roughly translated to: “And the time finally came that Madonna, the human toilet, wore County [of Milan]. I want to guarantee that nobody has given her anything for free, but that she paid with your money,”

Real Housewives

A lot happens on Bravo's Real Housewives franchise that viewers don't get to see—and Kristen Taekman is shedding new light on that. The Real Housewives of New York City veteran sat down for Life After Bravo, the cable channel's new digital series spotlighting network alumni, and said producers on the series capturing their every move are "your best friend." "No, I think they are sort of like your camp counselor. They're always there to lean on, if you need anything, especially during my first season. I personally feel like they always had my back and I'm sure that every girl felt that way,"

Mark Zuckerberg

Why buy a lake house when you could buy an entire compound? Well if you're a multi-billionaire like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, it's seems like a wise choice. The tech giant just purchased two side-by-side mansions on Lake Tahoe totaling a whopping $59 million, according to Variety. While the price tag is higher than probably anyone could ever imagine paying for a vacation home, it's just a kick in the bucket for a man valued around $70 billion. The pair of properties total around 10 acres, have a total of 15 bedrooms, and include numerous piers to house multiple boats. The smaller mansion, called Carousel Estate, is a charming Tudor-style home, built back in the early 1930s. The other house, called Brushwood Estate, was built in the '60s and has two adjoining guest houses for visitors to enjoy.
